We plugged this unit in and could hear it kick on, and the indicator light came on, but we did not conduct any further testing on the unit. Below are some specs we found on universal radio.The Kenwood TV-502 is a 2 meter transverter for the TS-520S series. It operates from 144 to 146 MHz with 16 watts input.The similar Kenwood TV-506 is a 6 meter transverter allowing operation from 50 to 54 MHz with 16 watts.This unit is being sold as is per ebays electronics policy & due to the fact we could not fully test it.
