Kenwood KR-9600 Stereo Receiver from the late 1970's, the Flagship Kenwood model producing a whopping 160 Watts per Channel into 8ohms @ 0.08% THD and an unbelievable Frequency response of 20 to 40,000Hz This receiver is in excellent condition (approx 9 of 10), not museum condition but mid level collectors quality for sure, the only blemishes are some superficial (very light) scratches in the black metal cover and the rear heat-sink covers, there is some very slight signs of wear on the faceplate around the knobs, I have done my best to photograph it.I little paint and polish and it could be made Mint. The display glass is scratch free and crystal clean, there are some reflections and glare that can be seen in the photos but in person its perfect.Operationally it is 100%, ALL Lights and indicators (no matter how small, and there are a bunch of them) are working, the push buttons, switches and potentiometers have all been Deoxit, cleaned and lubed, everything about it works as it should and the unit is powerful and sounds great. I would bet this is the nicest KR-9600 seen on Ebay in some time, it is 100% original, only light bulbs have been replaced, and with the exact same spec bulbs as the original, the use of LED's in these old receivers hurts their collectors appeal and is normally done when factory spec bulbs can't be sourced.
